Moore's law. Gordon E. Moore observed that the number of transistors on a computer chip was doubling about every 18–24 months. As shown in the logarithmic graph of the number of transistors on Intel's processors at the time of their introduction, his “law” was being obeyed.

Kryder's Law

Kryder's Law is the assumption that disk drive density, also known as areal density, will double every thirteen months. The implication of Kryder's Law is that as areal density improves, storage will become cheaper.

While studying airplane manufacturing, Wright determined that for every doubling of airplane production the labor requirement was reduced by 10-15%.
